Deep Thoughts by Bear Howenstine

As the start of another school year approaches, it seems only fitting for my good friend and study-buddy, Bear, to impart some wisdom on us.

"A house without either a cat or a dog is the house of a scoundrel." -Portuguese Proverb

Bear is a 3-year-old Newfoundland from Lincoln Park. His favorite activities include: hanging with his brothers Kevin and Gus (felines!), eating cupcakes, chasing squirrels, romping at Wiggley Field and drooling.

You had me fooled for a second, Lola!

I spy... one pup hiding in the snow!

Lola is a 12-year-old Great Pyrenees from Lakeview. She is a rescue pup who loves to romp in the backyard and swim.

To learn more about the breed, check out the Great Pyrenees Rescue of Greater Chicago website.

Nothing better than a Doodle party!

While on a walk with my new friend Oliver, a Mini-Goldendoodle, we came across two of his long-lost relatives: Oliver (yes, another Oliver!), a Labradoodle, and Jane, a standard Goldendoodle.

Oliver is from Wicker Park.
